Raspberry Buttercream

Someone probably thought of this before me, but no one has posted it before me:)
I was craving some Once't in a Blue Moon Bakery raspberry brownies and looking up recipes online for raspberry buttercream, when it dawned on me to just use Mom's old frosting recipe and throw in some frozen raspberries. It turned out delicious and a very delicate shade of pink, very pretty, indeed.

Some butter, softened
Some powdered sugar, ok, lots
Add milk and beat with beaters until it is the consistancy you like
Throw in frozen (thawed) raspberries

I didn't measure; sorry.

kenz, this is hilarious. you are so proud of yourself for posting a recipe, and it turns out that it isn't really a recipe. it does sound divine and pretty, so i will definitely try it.

"SOME" butter? N.E.I (not enough information. Should I just use Mom's frosting recipe and add raspberries? I'm glad one of your experiments worked out. :)

HAHAHAHA "Put some ingredients in a bowl and add raspberries" does not a recipe make. I'm glad you made your frosting dreams come true, though. :)

You guys are reminding me of Sally Moffat- "Can I tell you something, Meg? This is an afternoon dress!"

P.S. I'm excited because I have tons of frozen raspberries and now I have a use for them!
